The Battle is Not Against Flesh and Blood

We have been enduring a big battle in the studio regarding the new CD coming out in August at SonQuest in Mt. Airy. To start a roller coaster of attacks, I lost my bass player in the band. Prior to losing him, he had endured kidney stones in the midst of the project. Speaking of bass players, my dear friend stepped in and saved the day. However, we couldn't seem to find a bass that wouldn't make noise during recording. The kind of noise we didn't want. THEN, the studio's A/C went out. Talk about hot!

Then, David, the piano player, had a myriad of diagnoses...even kidney stones. Yet and still, this brave man of God came in and played wonderfully! I could go on, but the point is this: we worship a God that is full of life and truth. We worship the one true living God who loves us and wants the best for his sons and daughters. We worship a God that is bigger than any enemy attack. Yes, we do battle.

The battle belongs to the Lord, though. While enduring these things, I had you pray and low and behold, things began to clear up. People who have been involved in this project even indirectly have encountered such crises that were fairly scary. Over and over again I kept seeing God's hand at work.

He's spectacular...don't you think? We do not fight an enemy that we can see in the natural, but we fight an enemy that would seek to lie, steal, kill and destroy us. How do you get through it? Look up my friend . Look to the heavens from where your help comes. This battle is all God's. The CD project is all God's. It is breathed and inspired by Him and I trust Him to get it completed. I trust Him to pay for it.

I trust Him to keep the enemy at bay. Do you trust Him for your needs and desires? Bless His name! WORSHIP Him for He is worthy of all glory, honor and PRAISE!

Blessings,
Ashley
